Issuing and returning parts for packages
You can issue packages with a status of Approved and return packages with a status of Issued.
- Select Materials > Held Items Management > Packaging.
- Select a package for which to issue or return parts, then right-click the screen and select Issue/Return Parts.

If the status of the package is Approved, specify this information to issue the
parts:
- Issued To
- Specify the employee to whom the parts are issued.
- Cost Code
- Optionally, specify the cost code with which to associate the issued parts.
- Reference Number
- Optionally, specify a reference number for the issued parts.

If the status of the package is Issued, specify this information to return the
parts:
- Issued To
- Specify the employee to whom the parts are issued.
- Return Qty.
- Optionally, specify the return quantity for each part.
- Reference Number
- Optionally, specify a reference number for the issued parts.
Note: Optionally, click Fill Return Qty. to return all available parts. - Click Submit.
