Understanding the message bar

The system uses the message bar at the top of the window to quickly display messages, errors, and options you must view or select after performing an action. The message bar can include any of the following message types:

ErrorIndicates an error (e.g., a requisition must contain line items or the record has been modified by another user)
WarningWarns the user of an impending action (e.g., password expiration or overwriting an existing record)
QuestionRequires the user to select an option before taking an action (e.g., enter a reason for rejection prior to rejecting a requisition or work request)
SuccessIndicates the action was successfully completed (e.g., clicking Submit successfully created a requisition)
InformationDisplays informational text that is not the result of a user’s action (e.g., a system message)
